Thoughtful facilitation, not rushed fixes
Mendwell takes a careful, non-prescriptive approach to family communication — one that respects pace, maintains clarity, and produces written records families actually keep.
← Back to HomeSix things that set Mendwell apart
Each of these reflects a deliberate choice in how Mendwell structures its work — not marketing language, but actual practice.
Pace set by the family
No rushing. Sessions run at the speed the family finds comfortable, not a predetermined schedule.
Written records every time
A concise summary after every session gives all participants a shared point of reference to return to.
Genuinely neutral stance
Facilitators do not take sides, give opinions, or lead families toward predetermined conclusions.
Bangkok context
Based in Bang Rak, familiar with Bangkok family dynamics across cultural, generational, and expat contexts.
Full confidentiality
Signed confidentiality agreements before every session. Nothing leaves the room without written consent.
Clear scope boundaries
We say clearly when a situation needs a counsellor, lawyer, or other qualified professional — and help families find one.
Facilitation training and ongoing practice
Every Mendwell facilitator has completed accredited facilitation training and maintains active practice in family and organisational contexts. The team has collective experience spanning more than two decades of facilitated family work across Bangkok, Singapore, and the wider region.
- Accredited facilitation qualifications from recognised Southeast Asian bodies
- Regular peer review and continuing professional development
- Specific experience with Thai family cultural contexts and expat household dynamics
A structured process families can follow
Each Mendwell service follows a defined structure: a preliminary enquiry call, a brief intake conversation, the facilitated session or workshop itself, and a written summary distributed to all participants. For the Ongoing Programme, regular check-in scheduling and a running coordination log are included.
- Clear stages from first contact to session close
- Written output at every milestone
- Families know what to expect at each point
Personal attention, not a generic package
No two families who come to Mendwell are the same, and sessions are shaped to reflect that. The Reconnecting Conversation is structured around what the specific family needs to talk through. The Communication Habits Workshop produces a guide written for that family's actual routines and patterns. The Ongoing Programme is scheduled around the family's own calendar.
- Pre-session intake to understand family context
- Outputs tailored to the specific family's language and habits
- Scheduling flexibility including early mornings and Saturdays
Transparent, fixed pricing in Thai Baht
All Mendwell services are priced upfront and clearly. There are no session overruns billed retrospectively, no hidden preparation costs, and no add-on charges for the written summaries. Pricing in Thai Baht makes budgeting straightforward for both Thai resident families and expat households in Bangkok.
- Reconnecting Conversation: ฿3,800 fixed
- Communication Habits Workshop: ฿17,000 fixed
- Ongoing Family Support Programme: ฿33,500 fixed for programme period
Practical outcomes families can use
Mendwell measures success in practical terms: families leave sessions with written records, agreed frameworks, or structured habits they can apply independently. The aim is for families to rely on Mendwell less over time — not more. The Ongoing Programme, in particular, is designed with an exit point in mind from the very first check-in.
- Written session summaries families keep and return to
- Communication guides written for independent use
- Programme designed with a self-sufficiency goal

What Mendwell offers that others don't
The Family Communication Guide
At the end of the Communication Habits Workshop, every family receives a written guide we draft with them during the session — using their own words, their own habits, and their own agreed signals. It is not a template; it is specific to that family and theirs to keep indefinitely.
Coordination Log for extended programmes
Families enrolled in the Ongoing Programme receive a shared coordination log — a simple, running record of decisions made, matters discussed, and follow-up actions noted. It sits quietly in the background, available when needed.
Preliminary intake call included
Every booking starts with a short, complimentary intake call so Mendwell can understand the family's context before any session begins. This means sessions are better focused and participants are better prepared — not starting cold.
Honest scope recognition
If at any point Mendwell judges that a family would be better served by a counsellor, mediator, or legal professional, we say so — directly and without prompting. We would rather a family find the right support than continue with the wrong one.
