Three carefully built approaches to family communication
Each Mendwell solution is designed for a different moment in a family's journey — from a first careful conversation to an extended period of structured coordination.
← Back to HomeHow Mendwell works
Every Mendwell solution follows the same underlying structure: a preliminary intake to understand the family's situation, a facilitated session or workshop using a structured methodology, and a written record distributed to all participants afterward.
Facilitators do not direct the content of conversations. They hold the structure — ensuring turns are taken, topics don't get buried, and the session closes with something written and shared. What the family does with that is entirely up to them.
Intake call
Short call to understand context, answer questions, and confirm the right solution for the family.
Facilitated session
The core service — a session, workshop, or programme delivered by trained facilitators.
Written summary
Every session produces a shared written record for all participants within 24 hours.
Follow-up (where included)
For workshops and programmes, a follow-up call or check-in confirms the family's next steps.
Reconnecting Conversation
A patient, facilitated session creating a calm space for family members to talk things through respectfully. Non-binding and supportive. This is the right starting point for families who haven't spoken openly in some time, or where conversations tend to stall or become heated before anything useful happens.
- One structured session, 75–90 minutes
- In-person (Bang Rak office or agreed location) or remote
- Signed confidentiality agreement before session
- Written summary shared with all participants within 24 hours
- No prior preparation required from the family
Best suited for
- Families with a specific topic that needs a calm, structured forum
- Family members who have not spoken directly in some time
- A first step before committing to a longer programme
Best suited for
- Families who communicate but find it difficult to make decisions together
- Households where different members have very different communication styles
- Families wanting tools and frameworks they can use independently going forward
Communication Habits Workshop
A workshop building practical, lasting communication routines for a family, written down for shared reference. Organisational and educational. This half-day session works through the family's existing communication patterns, identifies where things break down, and produces a written guide the family keeps.
- Half-day group workshop format (approximately 3.5 hours)
- Co-created Family Communication Guide produced during session
- Follow-up call two weeks after workshop included
- Educational materials and reference tools provided
- Written in the family's own language and terminology
Ongoing Family Support Programme
An extended programme of facilitated check-ins and records organisation to help a family stay coordinated and connected over time. Centred on cooperation and clarity. The programme typically spans three months, with regular check-in sessions and a running coordination log maintained throughout.
- Three-month programme period with regular scheduled check-ins
- Shared coordination log maintained by Mendwell team
- Written session summaries at each check-in
- End-of-programme handover: full records for the family to keep
- Extendable by agreement after the initial period
Best suited for
- Families navigating a sustained period of change or transition
- Multigenerational households managing shared responsibilities over time
- Families who have completed a Reconnecting Conversation and want continued support

Standards that apply to everything we do
Privacy & Confidentiality
Signed confidentiality agreement before every session. No information shared outside the room without written consent from all participants.
Qualified Facilitators
All Mendwell facilitators hold accredited facilitation qualifications and maintain current IAF membership and continuing professional development.
Written Outputs
Every service produces at least one written document shared with all participants. Records are retained securely for the duration of the client relationship only.
Clear Scope
Mendwell is facilitation and organisation, not counselling or legal advice. We say so clearly from the first contact and will refer when a family's needs fall outside our scope.
Voluntary Participation
All participants attend freely. Any person may pause or end their involvement at any point. Mendwell does not facilitate sessions where attendance has been coerced.
